I will skip today’s senior events. We have our summer event today in the office, so it will be water sports and beach volley for me.

Good luck to all the ladies and clean 3A for Liza.

I need my 8 hours sleep to function properly so I too will miss the Ladies FS, which is quite a bummer as I wanted to see Liza! Ah well, fingers crossed for her 3A and I can't wait to see her costume (she showed a bit of it on Instagram I think, it looked amazing) on YouTube later.

Also goooo Ivett!

Looking forward to see how Kaori does, she wasn't too hurt on PCS so it was mainly the TES score that left her in 9th place, the absence of that combo really hurt it all. I want to see her better her position and have a great performance, she deserves it.
Also wishing the best of luck to Liza and Sofia, may they keep up their great skating and get a spot on the podium.
On other news also wishing luck to Amber Glenn, if she could finish strong it would be a great start of the season for her.

I'm anxious to see if Liza will try her 3A during her LP, also I am rooting for Sofia, I hope she will have a clean skate. :luv17:
It's really interesting to see if we'll see a "redemption" of the japanese girls, they sure have the potential to do so, and to watch Ivett, Amber and Viveca. The scores are quite close

I'll be very surprised if Liza doesn't go for the 3A, her jumps are looking good on the SP and although Sofia is close to her in points her PCS is usually way higher so if her jumps right before it work out it is worth going for it even with the risks.

Between the Ladies and the Men this has been one interesting competition to watch.

It's good to see Ivett in the best group, though her SP wasn't as badass as last season..

That was pretty good from Veronika.

Given that she was in last position after the SP, I think this bodes well for the rest of the evening.

Still trying to make up my mind whether on balance I liked that version of "Yesterday" or not. I didn't like the first half of it, but I did when it got dramatic.

As for Sara, it was obvious that she was tired during the second half of that routine. And the fall wouldn't have helped her score either.

To be honest, I can see Sheveleva going ahead of her.

I thought I had missed this, but it's just beginning. My inner time-zone converter is way off this week

OK, so I was miles off. There may have been only 1 point between them in the SP, but Conti opened up a 14 point lead over Sheveleva in the FS.

Shows how much I know... :slink:

What happened to Perticheto? We just went straight to Morkyte.

Hope she's alright.

Anyway, lovely routine from Greta. But, after getting it so wrong with Conti, I'm not going to try to guess whether she will remain ahead or not.

She slipped behind Conti.

Michaela-Lucie now.

Buys, she shouldn't be as early as the first group...

Grrrr. I hate the way that the vBulletin software sticks consecutive posts together.

Anyway, I loved the music and dress from Michaela-Lucie. The Spanish theme suited her, and she looked amazing!

However, it wasn't a great skate by her standards.

I think Sara is going to lead going into Group 2.

EDIT: Michaela-Lucie slipped behind Greta as well, into 3[SUP]rd[/SUP].

I knew I wasn't going crazy when I couldn't decide if Greta's music was by Celine Dion or Barbra Streisand. Who knew they recorded a song together

Right, because of Perticheto's withdrawal, we are running ahead of schedule. So, I'll get to see the Warm-Up before I leave.

But, after eating, I'll be playing catch-up. So, I'm afraid that the end of my LIVE comments.

But, there's just enough time for me to get this in:

:cheer: ALL THE BEST, LIZA!!! :cheer:

Whoever is in charge of the replay for this event is crazy. Yesterday they continually cut to jumps in midair so you couldn't see the entry, and they just cut away from the 3 jump combination after the Euler. :laugh2:

It seems Sofia has grown much in a short time.
