2024 Canadian Nationals Senior Men SP

Where would you send Aleksa for a new coaching deal ?

I am torn between Ravi and Orser.

I am not sure he fits quite well with the Murphys.

I know Ted and Kaetlyn are paid to be nice... I am doing this for free... I don't see what they are seeing. This is not the first skater that I would mention the word stretch and fingertips about... nopers

Other than the 3A, that was a good skate (including the first quad of the night) - Well done, Aleksa! :) He is musical and committed to his choreography, which I appreciate. I just always feel like I'm missing something in his skating... probably the lack of power and speed.

Ravi. But then I think everyone wants to send the men to Ravi now.
I guess it's because Conrad really learned how to skate with Ravi. Can you imagine if Conrad had been there from the get go? I don't know you as a skating fan, but I have been watching Conrad since juniors.. his technique... omg... Orser didn't fix it... Ravi did... So I guess that's why.. but yeah...

I find it just....pleasant, rather than amazing.

What a shame about the jumping issues! :( I really, really like this program for Roman, and he kept up an engaging performance throughout, despite the errors. He's got wonderful skating skills and spins. Hopefully he'll be able to come back in the FS. Fingers crossed!

OMG! 🫣
Horrible!! I didn’t understand why he didn’t add the 2T to the 3Lz….
What was he thinking?
That made him nervous I think cause he then had to add a jump to the 4S.
Sigh…

Conrad did have 5/6 quads under Orser, but he just didn't compete with them. He unfortunately hasn't been able to bring his technique strongly in competition.

Yeah, I think everyone's looking at Conrad's improvement and wanting to send the other Canadian men to Ravi. I'm a newer fan, and missed these men as juniors so I'm not as familiar with their growth as you are.
