Hmmm... I don't know if this was the best music choice for this team, I don't know if quirky Austin Powers is the right vibe for them. They're performing, but it's not quite as committed as a Lajoie/Lagha are. My favourite part of the program was the paso doble hold in the pattern step - I wish they had done a more traditional "ice dance" program that played more to their strengths, because that would have been a really nice change of pace that shows off their strengths. Skating-wise it looked really solid, but it feels like they're caught between a couple different styles here.

I think they’re not going for characters in the way that Lajoie/Lagha are, or at least not specifically for being Austin Powers. Obviously the music invites comparison but Michael didn’t seem to be doing Austin to me.

I do not think this is the program that Loicia & Theo started the season using - I do not remember this Michael Jackson program at all. Am I wrong? they skated very well.

Performance-wise, this felt a little more subdued from them than normal at the beginning of the program, especially Theo, but they definitely were into the program during the midline steps! They had really great, sharp choreo and movements, and I appreciate the cohesiveness of the program, but I also think this is a program that could do with a few more outings to feel more comfortable on them.

I liked D/LM's program much more than Gr/Pa's, they're the only French Villard de Lans team that actually got Arribert-Narce-esque programs this season

The character work in this program is so good - both of them have such individual personality and do a good job playing off of each other and the crowd. There are some really great moments of musicality in this program, but I don't know if it's quite as memorable like some of the other programs we've seen so far, mainly because the music feels a bit disjointed.

Controversial opinion: I like CPom's RD, music cuts could definitely be better but I like the choreo set to each piece
