Wow! Nice program from the Americans, but I think the costuming is a little 40s. Update the costumes and the program is 100% for me. Love the little details and the energy.

They were definitely pushing to have more speed and deeper edges here than last week in France - that level 4 pattern step is huge for them. They also had a lot more freedom here - perhaps the pressure is off a bit since they know the Final is now out of the question. This was definitely a redemption program for them over last week! I do worry a bit that the jet lag, back-to-back comps, and fatigue of pushing so hard today might catch up with them tomorrow, but we'll see. I really want to see their FD skated cleanly, because it's such a cool concept.
