Wow. Wakaba has not really ever been on my radar much, but that was SO good. Love the costume, love the program, love the skating, and most of all love that she's fought her way back through difficulties. I hope this is the start of better things for her.

Higuchi starts us off with a clean skate! She didn’t pop the flip and the step sequence was good. The program lacks choreography, though. I feel this is a better program for another skater.

I'm back. Far too awake! I need some really boring music choices to send me to sleep like I should be...

I slept about 3-4 hours woke up, tried to get back to sleep, could not, so thought well there is figure skating going on and it is Saturday, so I can watch if I am awake anyway. Mr of the house here is suffering the same, cannot sleep, so I can keep music on, not too loud, though, because we live in an apartment and have - fortunately only one above - neighbours here. Our time is UTC+3...I often sleep well after watching FS, maybe it is the music.

Nice start.
