They should get Warsaw Cup now, second time they've been above the domestic threshold. They should be able to get 4CC minimums at least. Good to know they're continuing to do well, I couldn't watch the free.Fiona/Benjamin won with 166.45
Fiona was (she is ready for 170+)
Benjamin was bleh (he has to do better than 1A 1A on the jump combo)
Unless Stellato-Dudek and Deschamps skip 4CC, there will be three Canadian pairs fighting for the two spots below them. I'm not certain Bombardier/Mimar would get selected ahead of Pereira/Michaud or Laurin/Ethier.They should get Warsaw Cup now, second time they've been above the domestic threshold. Also it looks like Lyons/Haubrich made the Challenge minimums, so they can go to Nationals now.
It's always good to have alternates. Plus if they do well at Nationals, they may opt to split the assignments like they did in 2023 so Laurin/Ethier could get the Worlds SP minimums.Unless Stellato-Dudek and Deschamps skip 4CC, there will be three Canadian pairs fighting for the two spots below them. They did away with the short and long minimums, now it’s just a total TES.It's always good to have alternates. Plus if they do well at Nationals, they may opt to split the assignments like they did in 2023 so Laurin/Ethier could get the Worlds SP minimums.
The example was for 2023 4CC, when they still had the separate TES. Laurin/Ethier did not have the short at the time, they were able to get it at 4CC and be an alternate for Worlds that year. They did away with the short and long minimums, now it’s just a total TES.
I watched the last half of the pairs during the ice resurfacing before the Ontario Senior Women. I managed to catch the last four thanks to delayed start here. I'm hoping Megan can have a better skate here than yesterday.Well, instead of watching Skate America Pairs, I was watching our ONT Junior Ladies. Ksenia K. won with 140.70.
She didn’t win the free skate and fell 3 or 4 times
Kaylee Sun won the free skate and almost caught Ksenia with a score of 138.
