MacKenzie/Lockwood - Waltz-like, I think? Solar Waltz was one of the pieces of music in there. I wasn't feeling it, maybe with better sound quality it'll work better. 65.92

Chung/MacKenzie - Dance for Me Wallis seemed out of place in there. They did well though. 67.48

I like Henrick Chan in Novice Men, he's a performer.

Only Alfred Lau in the Senior Men Short. I looked him up, he won silver at 2023 Ontario Provincial Championships for Junior Men 9 and won gold for Star 9. Music issue, and then he's got a guitar version of I Will Survive. It was rough, 30.96.

Pre-Novice free dance has a Flintstones program right after a Beetlejuice program, very cute choices

Bashynska/Beaumont - Latin ballroom theme, it was fun. And I think they did somersaults on the ice. 101.82

I’m not surprised regarding Ben and Fiona. They fell horribly on their jumps and botched a lift. A free skate would be two times as disastrous.

I don’t like how results from SP don’t carry over to the free skate

I liked her free skate program. Good program for Sara Maude. First time I actually enjoyed her skate.

Aside from the jumps in the second half, I really love this free program for Sara-Maude. It's more her style than last year and she looks more comfortable with it. It's July, so I'll see how she does with it at CQE

Not bad. She is a master of the 2.75 jumps. I suspect it will take a while…. To get her scores due to judges having to review all her jumps.
