Masha kind of reminds me of a younger Amber, as in it being very clear that the lack of consistency is not due to lack of conditioning or skill, but solely due to nerves and a mental block. She is able to skate programs like this (and with quads) cleanly at small competitions, but not when there is anything on the line (both at qualfiers for the RGP and at qualifiers for Nationals).

Are you sure Amber's struggles are only mental, though? Just because she has a 3A doesn't mean her physical form is perfect otherwise.

I have been following Amber for years and I'm sure.

She might have a clean runthrough and fall on a choreo jump.

What's more she deserved JNats once, her scores were in the top 12 of the series. But she got extremely packed stages and didn't make it.
