Is it me, or did Mia seem to be skating really slowly?

and when I heard the music, specifically at the end, I could only think of Sasha Cohen, and not sure if that's who you'd want people to have on their minds when you skate.

I thought of the Ponomarenko’s, who mesmerized me skating to ‘A Time for Us’ at Champions on Ice many years ago.

Lindsey’s coach has been with her since her Junior days; Julia Latowa is also the coach and Mother of Skyler Latowa the 12-year old who won the Silver Junior Medal at these nationals.
Lindsey might benefit from a sports psychologist to help with competition jitters. She was quite successful at the junior level, won the Gold at Cranberry Cup a couple of years ago over Sarah Everhardt.. she is a capable athlete and a beautiful skater but possibly she was not guided well through her growth spurt and her confidence has suffered. She was shy and introverted at the Junior level as well, skating for the beauty and joy of it. But judges really do not seem to have patience with introverted skaters and performers and fail to give them credit where credit is due. I hope she continues and makes adjustments so her true talents can really shine.

This is my opinion, too. It's not a technical problem. Her technique is actually quite good. It's a confidence problem. She went through a growth spurt and lost her jumps (normal) but just hasn't gotten her timing or confidence back.

Logan has a gorgeous dress and very striking choreography. She still needs to mature a bit more for this choreography to sing.but this is a very promising skate.

I rather like that program but some issues today. Starr's really going to move up.

Love the speed and attack Logan started the program with. It got rougher as it went on but she never fell. Very nice debut!
