ks777, I actually thought Laura was half-asian when I first saw her. Being a half-asian myself, I think some Finns have that look.

Beautiful 2A from Laura, then 3T-2T (she hesitated before the 2T *sigh*), then she telegraphs into the 3Z (F?) but pops it into a single...
3R clean, but scratchy on the landing.

Nice fast combo spin, with great sit positions.
Well, definitely the best presentation-wise so far (I think a bit better than Ashley, who was rushed and left some moves looking unpolished and unfinished), and probably the highest PCS. It remains to be seen whether she had enough technical content to go into first. I guess she has a little wiggle room on Ashley from the SP.
Regarding Finns looking Asian, maybe Finns share genetic heritage with Hungarians, along with some central Asians?

Yes, the finns are more closely related to asians than europeans genetically so I read somewhere.

3T-3R (great!), 3S (great!), 3F (a little tight).
I think Miki just under-rotated her 3Z, and flips out of it.
3Z-2R good though.

She gives a *big* smile just before her footwork sequence. I just realized I'm not used to seeing Miki smile like this in a program. She's tried to emote dramatic, sexy, lyrical, serious, but never quite "happy" as she seems to be doing this time.
She'll definitely go in first. Big cheer from the audience.
