also how impressive is Rebecca Andrade shaking out to be? she has gotten so good over the last couple years! i love watching her. she medaled in all finals she qualified for!

They didn't specify, but she was feeling some pain after warming up vault before the AA, so she decided to withdraw from the AA and event finals out of caution.

yep - same thing I heard - it was mainly preventative.

It's exciting to see athletes like Rebecca and Jessica Gadirova try to challenge Simone Biles - makes for an exciting Paris Olympics!

Now that Simone has eponymous skills across 3 apparatus, I wonder if she plans on coming up with one for bars - idk if her coaches are trying to minimize the number of twisting skills she's doing - but a triple double dismount on bars would not be a hard reach.

I didn't. I was turned off by the "Mean Girls" title!! LOL - no, really, I'm just swamped with trying to get my Kiddo off to a new college. How was it?

It was a lot. 16 teams, 4 sessions, 2 days. Pretty sure there are replays up.
