It wasn't a total disaster, but it was a tough skate, and there were several very good skates from others. It's 5 am and I'm not asleep yet for some reason so I've teleported here, apparently Mlle. Schizas had a diaster?
right on time for the Zamboniwhat a timing to show up here....
no.Is Ruiter going to Worlds???
She doesn't have SP minimums, so currently noIs Ruiter going to Worlds???
Kaiya is going to YOG right now, not 4CC.What they will do if Kaiya earn her SP minimal technical at 4CC and if she beat Madeline Schizas at 4CC could it be possible for Kaiya to represent Canada for world ?
Kaiya is going to YOG, so no opportunity to get Worlds minimums soon. Maybe at a Senior B later in February/early March. What they will do if Kaiya earn her SP minimal technical at 4CC and if she beat Madeline Schizas at 4CC could it be possible for Kaiya to represent Canada for world ?
Could she earn her missing SP technical minimum at YOG ?Kaiya is going to YOG right now, not 4CC.
i am not sure I have it in me to watch this all day until the men... considering my boy is sitting in 10th place as of now.Well. That is an end to this part of the event.
It started last season, when she just didn't seem to have the joy or passion for skating anymore. With the better programs this year, she looked more into it. But even in her interviews she has been pretty ho-hum about skating in general, and hasn't given the impression that it is a great passion in her life. It's totally understandable given all the pressure, but I can't help feeling bad because she is such a great skater and performer. Not to mention extremely valuable in Canadian skating at the momentWell that was a fight for Maddie all the way through. The lutz used to be such a solid jump for her, I wonder what has happened?
I just feel like she seems to have lost her joy of performing. A few years ago she went out there and looked like she relished being in front of the crowd. That seems to be gone. She seems so careful now instead. She needs to get that joy back, and I'm not sure how she does it.
That was a weird fall on the loop. Looked like she had it.
No, it's a Junior-level competition, so only Jr minimums can be earned.Could she earn her missing SP technical minimum at YOG ?
It's a junior event, so I don't think so.Could she earn her missing SP technical minimum at YOG ?
and for the crowning of the new Queen of Canada... i mean... it used to be Elizabeth IIright on time for the Zamboni
