Anyone want to fight me over Deanna or can I live in peace here? 
Aaaarggghhhh, Trent! Why???? I thought they were home free after the Lia saved the throw. Anyway, still a good program, but it won't be as high a score as it could have been.
This program has so much sparkle and pizazz, which matches Lia very well. I find after all the covers and soft rock ballads of recent years, Sing, Sing, Sing is actually incredibly refreshing and fun.

also omg Deanna is fit
also also it sounds like Max has been off the ice for a long time with his illness... I hope he's okay, that sounds quite serious and pairs is so taxing, especially in the free for the lifting partners

Deanna and Max will easily take the lead. She did well to save herself after she landed the throw brilliantly, then looked like she just caught her toe pick when she stepped forward. He had a balance check on the footwork, which was surprising. Best lift and twist in the competition by a mile. Best death spiral. I thought Laurin/Ethier had the best side by side spins, but this was pretty good.

I was so happy to see Deanna and Max back on the ice that I couldn't stop smiling while they skated

My partner and his wife are here for dinner so we could watch the pairs short together. We were laughing a bit at Deanna copying something I did yesterday -- landing a nice throw and then tripping on my free pick as I stepped forward.
I felt the jar of Kelly-Ann Laurin's flat twist landing up my own spine just watching, though. Might not look painful like a fall, but it is. Ouch. Happy it didn't affect the rest of her part in the program.

We left before any of this. We did the standing ovation for Max and Deanna like everyone and segued to the exit to beat the crowd.... We are hungry
There are times when beating the crowd beats getting the marks. We have also done the trick where we go to the washroom and walk toward the exit during the replays, then duck into the tunnel nearest the exit to hear the marks.We left before any of this. Sometimes they have screens in the hallway, so you don't need to bother with the ducking-in part!

All in all n ot bad at all. L and E surprised with more sparkle but alll the top 3 or 4 teams couuld deal with more speed and whata I called amplitude - finish on their elements. I just don't see a lot that sets Deanna and Max from the other top world team and then trennt and LLia from those fight from like 6th to 12th. I was also hoping more from Bombarrdier and her partner but it looks like the top three are settled If this was in trumplland /usa the scores woud be probably at leasgt 2 to 3 points higher per team.
