This RD is just so fantastic - I love the music, the vibe, the choreo, and they looked so sharp with the choreo today. They've changed some of the choreo, they took out the mid-twizzle transition from earlier on in the season... it's probably for the best because it was very risky and really slowed down the second set, but I do miss it. However, a lot of the other additions are brilliant. That entry into the rotational lift is so good!

Okay, help me out with something that's been bugging me since the beginning of the year: is it just me, or does the California Girls section not line up with the beat? It seems to me that the drum beat and the vocals are on very slightly different tempos. I'm not sure if that is how the original sounded, or if the drum section was added over top of the original track to give a more distinct beat for this rhythm dance ( as ice dancers often do), and that is the reason that there seem to be two slightly different tempos during that section. Anyone else hear this?

Anyway, obviously it's a good dance, but I'm not convinced it has all the difficulty that it could. I've never been a fan of the Rhythm dances other than one they did the year Piper was sick.

As expected the race is for bronze. Is it too much to hope that LaLa make some changes to their RD? This just isn't it. Their saving grace is that most of the RDs this season have the same problem.

Welll the last short event was the best. Four teams thatt coud be top ten in the world. Piper and Paul still have room to grow. Today's program was in my opinion the best RD performed so far by any team but the judges do like CB. As expected the battlle is for bronze but the former world junior champs look like they are finished. What a disaster. I wonder if they will break up after such a rough two years.

I knew they would kill this skate when I saw them wear the lifeguard outfits like at Skate Canada. Paul looks so good in a tank top.

They are my favourite dance team currently competing. I agree, that this program doesn’t do them any favours. I’m biased for this team. But, I enjoyed Piper and Paul so much more.

The score the 3rd and 4th team currently have. It will be a nail biter decision coming down to the free dance

The fifth place team was actually my third favourite team of the day

I do agree that tank tops or just sleeveless top are made for Paul. I remember gasping while seeing his RD attire at Skate Canada practice via video my friend sent me in 2022/23 season when we had Latin theme

Watched the RD and...WOW. So, so good. So much of content packed there, refined, nuanced and laced with good humour throughout. And big sigh of relief that they were so in control, commanding the ice and really showing masterclass in performance.
I'm just so happy for them. The score, how performance went, their smiles.

This RD feels like lazy work by Romain or whoever gave it to them tbh; they deserve a lot better I'm over the Austin Powers themed RD, and the only team who have good material with this music is Green/Parsons, b/c they are not actually cosplaying Austin Powes.

I agree with most that LaLa’s program just doesn’t work and that’s because it lacks cohesion.
The Austin Powers song is a decade previous and more to the other two songs and IMO Zach drops the character.
They needed to either bring in another Frug type song or something from the 60’s and continue to tell the Austin Powers story.

Sold out doesn't mean that everyone is coming. There are a couple sections reserved for skate Canada VIPs. So they were never for sale...

Eh, I'm not talking entire sections. Empty seats where people are sitting. I don't think what i am seeing on the stream is VIP sections, but who knows
