Fabbri/Ayer a point ahead of Lauriault/Le Gac at the end on the TES tracker at the end

I love this RD from Lauriault / Le Gac. They are always so unique and charismatic, but they just don't have quite the same skating skills as Fabbri / Ayer. They do well to disguise it with a lot of transitional content, I really appreciate their placement of the twizzles and the lift, and they deserve full marks on their choreo rhythm sequence, but the speed and ice coverage just isn't quite there yet. That being said, this was by far their best performance so far this season. Marie-Jade spun out on one of her twizzles, so they dropped a level, but other than that, they avoided a lot of the major mistakes that have plagued them this season all the while really trying to push their edges and speed compared to on the GP.

Some loss of synchronization, but a much more sophisticated, complex and nuanced program than Fabbri/Ayer

Lala got plushies made by a fan with the exact same costumes. This was good but probably my least favourite RD of theirs in a long time. They deserve better.

I really enjoyed this RD so much tonight, the upper body choreo is so complex during the midline, and I love the change of holds during the pattern step. The twizzles were also really strong, with great ice coverage, and Zachary in particular looked so into this program - he was so into character! The transition from Austin Powers to disco actually works really well, and the program feels so cohesive. They probably could have been a little faster and more aggressive on the steps, but that was still a really incredible RD.

This was clean and well-skated, but I just don't like the program. It lacks anything memorable. They definitely deserved better this year. It almost feels like sabotage, given how much momentum they had coming into this season.
