Morita may be from Japan, but he’s apparently representing Canada so….

Hanretty corrected himself in the post-skate commentary. Said from Canada this time.

A lot of talent and potential, but inconsistent under pressure. At least he's in good company among Canadian men in that respect. Hopefully, he will be inspired by Keegan and Roman improving in that aspect a bit this season and manage to do so as well.

Always very interesting to see male skaters working on quads before the 3A, I don't remember this strategy from before the Eteri girls started jumping quads (obviously without the 3A), maybe there was some impact in the boys' training by their success. Casper's body expression is wonderful and his spins are very nice, shame about all of the pops today.

A bit tired at the end, but a huge upgrade in technical difficulty compared to what he did in the past. The Loop seems to be a bit of an issue for him, but he did well today. Happy reaction in the Kiss & Cry.:party2:

Very nice, and almost completely clean. ☺️❤️ But why a fully black outfit for Tristan et Iseult? Come on, give us something to look at. At least there were some sparkles. Some more speed on the Axels as well, though he's still a bit crawl-y when he attempts them.

Xie needs work on his skating skills; he slowed down considerable when setting up his 3As. He does have some nice qualities that were shown in the choreo sequence.

Ryoga. Love the costume and program. A few mistakes but still a good skate. :hap10:

He increased the difficulty compared to the Free at Courchevel. Didn't quite succeed but put up a good fight. He has the same soft knees and great speed and ice coverage as most Japanese skaters.
