2025 U S.Nationals Senior Women's Free Skate

I love so many things about Lindsay's skating: the spins, the extension, etc. But the jumps are not improving. It's sad when talented skaters are taught unsustainable jump technique.

Ashley is saying that the judging panel is reviewing every jumping pass. They are really being harsh with her.

However, in my opinion, I think it was a lackluster skate for her. I think the harsh judging in the short demoralized her, and it showed in her performance.

Aw, that was a rough skate. One day she’ll put it all together. Her SP is still one of my favorites. This LP isn’t a good program for her; she just looks uncomfortable with it.

I agree w Ashley. She is getting hosed by US judges. Not that different from international but they do seem to be undermining her confidence. Not fair. Mr Rice who was a pro dancer championed her early on so she does have something more that she's being given credit for. Lindsay go skate for another country. Worse scores than international judging.

Oh my goddess. Do the judges just hate her for some reason? Treat everyone equally, if you can't, let someone else judge

Okay, the judges were HARSH here...

Towards the end of this program her facial expression changed and she got mad and just decided to skate to and enjoy the music. I think she decided to just skate. That freedom is seen in her smile. She is not even interested in her scores right now. She may no longer be afraid of the judges after this.

Anyone know why Lindsey seems so sad? I heard she came to the rink upset yesterday even before the competition. And she just looks on the verge of tears tonight.
She's looked like she was crying every time I saw her, I wondered if it was something weird to do with her makeup and the lights

Once again, they are hammering her.
to be fair, though, a lot of the calls are deserved, those jumps were clearly under. I totally agree about the harsh judging in the short though. Since it's Nationals, I probably would have knocked off a few q's in this free skate, but that's putting band-aids on a bullet hole. I really hope she can come back stronger, and I'd love for her to keep this program for next season, as I think it has so much potential.

It wasn’t a great skate.
